On January 27th through 28th, I went hiking with my Boy Scout troop to the Superstition Mountains. We didn’t actually camp up on the mountains, but we camped more on the area surrounding the mountains.
I packed a little heavy, bringing along an air mattress, hiking chair, sleeping bag, pillow, an extra set of clothes, and some other things I ended up not using. It ended up being around 30-35 pounds.
It was a fairly rough trail, with Saturday being the hardest day due to the fact that it was mostly uphill with few flat hiking areas. There was also the fact that I was carrying two cans of Chef Boyardee’s Ravioli to eat for that night. Unfortunately, the plastic bag holding the cans broke, can I had to shove them into my bag. Additionally, the cans had to feed 7 hungry teenagers, so they were fairly big, maybe the size of a head. I didn’t know that I had enough space to do that, because then I would’ve just kept them in the hiking bag. The hike ended up being around 3.82 miles long.
The campsite was a small little valley, which was surrounded by hills on all sides, and a little creek that ran through it. The source of the creek was a little letdown, being just a little pond.
On Sunday, the hike back to the cars, was much easier than compared to Saturday. This was because it was more downhill, and I didn’t have to carry the ravioli cans. We ended up stopping at a gas station that had a McDonald’s in it before arriving home. My favorite part when getting home is always taking a nice warm shower.
Hello would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re utilizing?
I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different browsers and I must
say this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you suggest a good internet hosting provider at a fair price?
Kudos, I appreciate it!
Hi!
I use WordPress with Divi Builder. WordPress itself is free, but Divi Builder is 89$.
Thanks for looking through!
Wow! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a entirely different subject but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Superb choice of colors!
